This policy explains how Elevated IT collects, uses and protects personal information through this website. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
If you’re an Elevated IT client, how we handle information as part of our services is covered by your service agreement, not this policy.
1. Who we are

2. What we collect
a. Information you send us
When you fill in the enquiry, health check or support ticket form on this site, we collect what you enter. That usually means:
Contact details. Your name, business name, email address and phone number.
Your message. What you tell us about your enquiry or the problem you need help with.
Form submissions are processed by our website host, Framer, and sent to our team.
b. Information collected when you visit the site
We use analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, to measure how the site and our marketing campaigns perform. They record things like the pages visited, how long visitors stay, the type of device and browser used, approximate location (city level) and how visitors found the site. They use cookies and similar technologies to do this. We use it only to see how the site performs. We don’t use it to identify individual people.
3. How we use it
To reply to your enquiry, and to book a health check or support if you ask for one.
To assess how the website and our campaigns perform, and improve them.
To meet our legal obligations.
We don’t sell personal information, and we won’t add you to a mailing list because you sent an enquiry.
4. Cookies and analytics
Our analytics tools set cookies in your browser. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and many analytics providers offer their own opt-out, such as Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The site still works if you do.
5. Who we share it with
Website usage data is processed by the analytics providers we use. We don’t share the details you send us through the site with anyone else, except where the law requires it.
6. Storage outside Australia
Our analytics providers may store usage data outside Australia, including in the United States.
7. Security and retention
We protect the information we receive with access controls and multi-factor authentication. We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to respond and follow up, then delete them.
8. Accessing or correcting your information
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. Email info@elevatedit.com.au and we’ll respond within 30 days.
9. Complaints
If you’re concerned about how we’ve handled your information, contact us first and we’ll work to resolve it. If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.

We’ll update this page if the way the website handles personal information changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
