The problem

Why small businesses need managed IT

Most small businesses don’t have anyone whose job is the IT. Updates get skipped, backups go unchecked, and problems only surface when they stop work. Managed IT puts one local team in charge of all of it for a fixed monthly cost, so your staff can get on with their own jobs.

Getting started

Switching over takes about three weeks

Most of it happens in the background. Your team notices a new number to call and not much else.

01

Health check

Thirty minutes onsite. We document what you’re running, what it costs and where the exposure is, then price the plan against real user numbers.

02

Transition plan

A written order of work. It sets out what we fix first, what waits, what we take over from an existing provider, and who we need access from.

03

Onboarding week

Monitoring and protection deployed, backups verified, documentation built, and a short session with your staff so they know how to reach us.

04

Steady state

Support runs, we report monthly, and we sit down twice a year to check the technology still matches where the business is going.

Managed IT questions

Questions about plans and handover

1800 620 449

What’s a seat?

Complete plans are charged per seat. A seat is one person, or one shared computer. One seat covers a person however many computers they use, such as a laptop, an office PC and a home PC. A shared computer, like a workshop PC or the reception desk, is one seat, and the people who only use it don’t need their own. Essentials is still charged on every computer, so someone with a laptop and a desktop pays Essentials on both but needs only one seat.

What’s the difference between Complete Remote and Complete Onsite?

Complete Remote covers everything we can fix remotely, with no per-ticket charges. Complete Onsite adds visits: if remote support doesn’t fix the problem, we come to you at no extra cost, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, within our normal service area of Lake Macquarie, Newcastle, the Central Coast, and Maitland and the Hunter. Onsite visits outside those hours or that area are charged, and project work like an office move, a server replacement or a cloud migration is quoted separately so you can approve it on its own merits.

We already have a provider. How does the handover work?

We handle it. Once you’ve given notice we collect credentials, licensing and documentation, run in parallel where we can, and cut over on an agreed date. You don’t need to referee the conversation.

What happens outside business hours?

Monitoring never stops, so we act on serious faults and security alerts when they happen. Day-to-day support runs Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, and we can add after-hours cover if your business needs it.

Are we locked in?

A 3-month minimum, then month to month, and the documentation we build is yours to take. If we’re not earning the fee you shouldn’t be stuck with us.
